Britney Spear’s court sickness

According to Britney Spears' lawyer, the star is still not fit to participate in legal matters concerning her estate.

The 26-year-old was committed to a psychiatric facility earlier this year ('08) to be treated for a bi-polar disorder and her father Jamie was subsequently appointed conservator of her legal and financial affairs.

The toxic hit-maker was also stripped of custody of her two children, but she has since made good progress and been granted limited access to Jayden James and Sean Preston as part of her ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

But a Los Angeles court heard on Thursday (29 May, '08) that the star is still not well enough to participate in any legal proceedings, with her attorney telling the court that her doctor hopes to carry out “additional testing in the not-too-distant future” -(SAMPURN)
