Rapper 50 Cent is to turn his new album, Before I Self Destruct, into a hard-hitting biopic, which he’ll direct and produce.
Inspired by his acting role opposite Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in the movie 'Righteous Kill', the In Da Club hitmaker will turn his life story into a gritty new film, which will be released to coincide with his new album by this December.
He says that it is not a Prince film, but it was inspired by the actual music. He says that he is confident his film will be nothing like the other films which are made by other hitmakers.
According to the rapper, when movies portray certain lifestyles they don’t show cause and effect, but the rapper says that he showed characters under pressure in scenarios where they felt like there were no other options, even though there were.
The much hard-working rapper plans to write and record a soundtrack for the film, which won’t feature tracks from his much-anticipated 'Before I Self-Destruct' album, which is scheduled to release on 9th December (2008). (SAMPURN)
