Brian Littrelle’s son hit by Kawasaki disease

Baylee, son of the famous Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrelle, is suffering from Kawasaki Disease. It’s a rare heart disease, which causes inflammation in the coronary arteries as well as the walls of the small and medium sized arteries throughout the body.

The young boy was rushed to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday (15 Dec, ‘08), where he was diagnosed with this disease.

Baylee is out of hospital now, but he will be closely monitored for the next six or so weeks by a paediatric cardiologist to see if the treatment was effective.
