Was Brad Pitt into drugs?

The buzz is that an old friend of Hollywood hottie Brad Pitt has revealed to the Globe that the star had been heavily into weed-smoking in his youth.

Apparently Craig Z Rudin, who used to run ‘2000 BC’, a drug shop the now 45 year old once frequented has said, "It was no secret Brad liked to smoke pot. He was so open and honest about it. It seemed to me all he wanted to do was smoke weed, make movies.He’d come into the shop all the time. He came in once and was excited about smoking with one of his very big-name co-stars.

He added that Brad was once a fan of drug culture. He had boasted with a huge grin on his face, "We blaze (smoke pot) every day in his trailer."

Rudin is now running for the post of Mayor of Los Angeles. The marijuana advocate claims that Pitt also brought ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow into his Melrose Avenue store, but the actress was not impressed.

Another longtime friend of Pitt said that the actor has given up smoking and is much clearer after giving up pot.

He says, "His (Pitt) whole life changed after he stopped smoking pot. He found he was thinking clearer and feeling better."
