James Cameron’s Avatar is not only ruling box offices across the globe with a whopping collection of USD 620 million (Rs 3000 crores), but is currently the hottest topic on leading social networking site Twitter.

While the film is one of the most popular searches on several websites, Avatar’ is clearly the most discussed thing on Twitter!

According to the Twitter homepage, Avatar’ ranks number one in the list of popular topics by the minute’ and ‘popular topics for the day. It also figures in the list of ‘popular topics for the week’.

James Cameron’s epic action adventure Avatar has been creating a huge buzz on Twitter since releasing to theaters Dec. 18.
