Up In the Air ReviewUp in the air was released in 2009. It is a comedy-drama film. The movie is full of emotions and comedy.

It is directed by Jason Reitman and co- written by Sheldon turner and Reitman. The movie is adapted from the novel Up In the Air in 2001 written by Walter Kim. The story revolves around the main character that is corporate downsizer and his travels. He has been living an isolated life. Along the way of his life, he meets people who share somehow same philosophy. The film shows how Ryan fired various people in order to make his living, and then it shows how they were able to fight and tackle the conditions or the situation of unemployment. They regained all the strength from their families inspiring them all along the way. It reflects the life journey of Ryan. The motive of the story is to put forward the relevance of relationship in one’s life contrary to Ryan’s philosophy. It leaves an impact on both the heart and the mind of audiences to think and realize the importance of relationships. The specialty about the story is it has two people with same ideology of having relation free life but still fall in love with each other. This makes the story unique which the audience always look for. It takes us in to another world where we can well imagine what a life could be all like with nothing or nobody.

On the overall basis, the film received a positive response. The renowned review aggregator Roten tomatoes that on an average the movie got a rating average of 8.2 out of 10, it also reports that 89pc of 176 critics have given the film a positive review. The actors were into the role and did complete justice to the character. Most of the major rating companies gave a good rating. The audience reported that they have seen something fresh which really left their mind to think and realize the importance of love.

The movie is the perfect blend of emotions and comedy. The movie was apt for the prevailing circumstances of recession depicting something quite near to reality. The movie is witty, charming and an exploration of the world we recognize or are aware of to a certain extent. The only thing, which was quite off beat, was loose connection showing on one side the person who want to fly away from the responsibility of relationships and on the other hand falling in love.

What makes the movie outstand is it true depiction of what is going on in real life these days and the comic brilliance, which kept the audience, involved. There is a strong sense of humor along with emotional depth. What else one can ask from a movie. In all it leave audience with satisfying experience and ponder into their lives to realize actually the worthiness of relations in one’s life.
